"I’ve been teaching voice and piano since 1991 and can honestly say I can’t think of any other career that would bring me such joy every day. I love working with students of all ages and abilities and get so much satisfaction from seeing how they grow and develop in their skills and performance."

Noël grew up in Mississippi, but calls Texas home. Which came first: talking or singing? Not sure!  At 3 years old, her mom would catch her sitting at the piano playing songs just taught earlier in private piano lessons in their home.  Throughout her childhood she was always playing the piano or singing at home and at church. By the time Noël was in high school, she knew that she would pursue a career in music. While studying in college, she was awarded “Singer of the Year” both in community college and at the University of Mississippi, where she earned a Bachelors of Music in Vocal Performance. In 1991 she first began teaching private voice and piano. She then became an Opera Apprentice with the Knoxville Opera Company and a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Tennessee, where she earned a Masters of Music in Vocal Performance.  She was immediately hired as a professor of voice at Temple College and Dallas Baptist University, teaching private voice, vocal literature, and also directing DBU’s first production of the opera Gianni Schicchi.

She moved to the Fort Worth, TX area in 2001 and began teaching voice not only out of her private studio, but also for Arlington ISD Junior High and High Schools, local churches, homeschool cooperatives and community theaters.

It is her joy to instruct performers in healthy vocal technique so they can sing and act with authenticity, freedom and confidence. Her students are very successful, having placed as finalists in classical and musical theater categories in the National Association of Teachers of Singing, International Youth Music and Hal Leonard Competitions.  They have been cast in productions with community and equity Theaters and theme parks all around Texas, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Massachusetts, Connecticut & New York. Many of her students have been accepted into Universities’ Theater, Musical Theater, Vocal Performance and Music Education programs around the US.

Some of her favorite roles she has performed: Marie/Fairy Godmother in Rodgers & Hammerstein's Cinderella, Cinderella's Mother/Little Red's Granny in Into the Woods, Louise Badger, in Holiday Inn, Carlotta in Phantom, Madame de la Grande Bouche in Beauty and the Beast, Evleen in The Pirate Queen, Luisa in The Fantasticks, Blanche in The Dialogues of the Carmelites, and Cherubino in The Marriage of Figaro

Noël is a mother of five grown children, whom she adores! When she is not teaching, music directing or performing, she is either spending time with family or traveling the world with her beloved Hubby .
